Helping children to become the best versions of themselves

After his uncle died of a heart attack aged just 44, Laurence realised that he needed to help the people in his community to develop healthy attitudes towards fitness. That's when he developed Life Guards - a charity dedicated to educating young people about the importance of looking after their hearts.

Life Guards works in a variety of contexts. We run fitness sessions in schools and youth groups, as well as hosting stand-alone day events and a weekly gym for young people.
